Walmart+ design exploration
After the Walmart brand redesign in 2025, the Walmart+ presence on the homepage needed a refresh to match.
Project scope:
Redesign Walmart+ banner for use on the Walmart.com homepage. Generate new visual identity systems based on the following categorizations: Walmart+ brand focus, illustration led, product focus, lifestyle photography, and seasonal tie-in

Research the current and past Walmart+ creative, identifying areas of opportunity
Redesigned assets for more consistency with other recently updated site assets, but also stand out amongst the other homepage assets to encourage a higher click-thru-rate
Developed design mockups in close collaboration with the copywriter to refine messaging impact
Reviewed designs with business partners in several points throughout the project > made edits and pivoted as needed
Handed off the approved banner concepts to the Walmart+ team for further development

Before and after: utilized an existing taller module, allowing for a larger lifestyle image

Explored multiple module sizes for greater design flexibility, giving Walmart+ messaging more or less real estate on the app for various situations
